Philip Norman Alderslade (ur. 24 listopada 1943 r. w Edmonton, Wielka Brytania) jest brytyjskim taksonomem koralowców miękkich. W 1995 r. uzyskał tytuł doktora na Uniwersytecie Jamesa Cooka i pracował jako asystent naukowy na Wydziale Zoologii Uniwersytetu Queensland, zanim w latach 1974-1981 objął stanowisko biologa morskiego w Roche Research Institute of Marine Pharmacology w Sydney. Od 1981 roku jest kuratorem parzydełkowców w Muzeum i Galerii Sztuki Terytorium Północnego w Darwin.
Zajmuje się przede wszystkim systematyką Octocorallia i wraz z Kathariną Fabricius opublikował standardową pracę Soft Corals and Sea Fans, kompleksowy przewodnik po tropikalnych rodzajach płytkowodnych środkowo-zachodniego Pacyfiku, Oceanu Indyjskiego i Morza Czerwonego.
Miękki koralowiec Paraminabea aldersladei (Williams, 1992) i wieloszczet Alcyonosyllis phili Glasby & Watson, 2001, który żyje jako komensal na gorgonii Melithaea flabellifera, zostały nazwane na cześć Alderslade. W 2006 roku Lisa-Ann Gershwin nazwała nowy rodzaj hydrozoanów Aldersladia.
