Cyril Aldred (* 19 lutego 1914 w Fulham, hrabstwo Londyn; † 23 czerwca 1991 w Edynburgu) był brytyjskim egiptologiem i historykiem sztuki.
Cyril Aldred urodził się jako trzeci syn Fredericka Aldreda i Lilian Ethel Aldred, z domu Underwood, w Fulham, obecnie dzielnicy Londynu. Jego ojciec był urzędnikiem państwowym na poczcie. Po uczęszczaniu do Sloane School w Chelsea, Aldred najpierw studiował literaturę angielską w King's College London, a następnie historię sztuki w Courtauld Institute of Art na Uniwersytecie Londyńskim. Podczas studiów poznał egiptologa Howarda Cartera w 1933 roku. Po ukończeniu studiów w 1936 r. Cyril Aldred został asystentem kuratora (Assistant Keeper) w Royal Scottish Museum w Edynburgu w 1937 r. W latach 1955/56 spędził rok jako Associate Curator w Departamencie Sztuki Egipskiej w Metropolitan Museum of Art w Nowym Jorku. Od 1961 r. do przejścia na emeryturę w 1976 r. był kierownikiem Wydziału Sztuki i Archeologii w Royal Scottish Museum.
